Cultura Fish recounts the journey of archiving and spreading Vietnamese intangible cultural heritage in issue 52 of ICH Courier.

ICH Courier is a quarterly magazine published by ICHCAP(*) aiming to disseminate information and news related to intangible cultural heritage in the Asia-Pacific region. Articles featured in ICH Courier are typically written by researchers, organizations, or individuals active in the field of intangible cultural heritage. In issue 52, Hiếu Văn Ngư – Cultura Fish had the honor of contributing a brief article that introduces their group.

An image from the “Hát Bội 101” project by Hiếu Văn Ngư – Cultura Fish was selected to illustrate the article.

From questions that team members have experienced such as “Is there still war in Vietnam?”, “Does everyone live near a rice field?”, the article “Bringing the Stories of Vietnam to the World” in ICH Courier issue 52 offers an opportunity for Cultura Fish to express their sentiments and motivations for pursuing intangible cultural heritage projects. Besides listing projects, Cultura Fish also clearly defines the scope of the group’s activities and the capabilities they can achieve, at least in the next 2-3 years.
